Business-grade kit that lasts — not consumer hardware rebadged for the office. We spec, procure, configure and deploy HP and Dell laptops, desktops, workstations and servers for South Wales businesses.
For most South Wales SMEs, HP and Dell are the right answer for most fleets. Business-grade warranties, next-business-day on-site support options, proper hardware testing — and when something goes wrong, there are parts engineers in the UK who can fix it.
The problem most businesses fall into is buying the wrong range. A Dell Inspiron from Currys isn't the same as a Dell Latitude, even if it looks similar. The build quality, warranty, repairability and driver support are categorically different. Consumer lines are built to a price point for home use; business lines are built to last.
We spec against actual workload, procure through business channels with proper warranty cover, configure before delivery so it's ready to use out of the box, and track it through its lifecycle so you're not caught out by kit suddenly going end-of-life.
The whole lifecycle of your business hardware, handled.
Dell Latitude, HP EliteBook, HP ProBook. Business-class construction, proper warranties, full-sized keyboards, docking station support.
Dell OptiPlex, HP EliteDesk / ProDesk. Small form factor to tower, single or dual monitor configurations.
HP Z-series, Dell Precision for CAD, 3D, video editing. Xeon / Threadripper, ECC RAM, professional GPUs.
HPE ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge. Rack or tower, on-prem or hybrid. Proper RAID, iLO/iDRAC, 3–5 year NBD warranty.
Dell / HP monitors, docking stations, keyboards, webcams. Compatible, consistent, warranty-backed.
Windows baseline, encryption enabled, M365 login ready, business apps installed, domain joined. Out of box = ready to work.
We log all hardware, track warranty dates, handle RMAs and replacement parts. One number to call — ours.
Every device logged with serial, user, warranty, purchase date. Accurate asset register for insurance, audit, refresh planning.
End-of-life kit wiped to DoD standard with certificate. WEEE-compliant disposal. Trade-in values captured where available.
Different businesses, different approaches. Here's what we see most often.
"Our laptops are 5 years old and constantly broken." We audit, spec replacements, procure in one order, configure in batch, deploy in a weekend.
New business, first hires. Buy the right kit first time so you're not replacing it in 18 months. 2x Latitudes + docks + 4K monitors beats 5x Inspirons every time.
Every new starter gets the same build — same model, same spec, same baseline image. Predictable for IT, predictable for budget, fair for staff.
Architects, designers, video editors, engineers. Proper workstations with ECC RAM, Xeon/Threadripper, pro GPUs. Not gaming PCs badged for work.
That Windows Server 2012 in the corner finally needs to go. We spec a modern HPE ProLiant or Dell PowerEdge, migrate the workloads, dispose of the old kit.
If you're a creative agency needing top-spec MacBooks, we'll get you MacBooks. If you need ruggedised field laptops, we'll quote Panasonic Toughbook. Right kit, not just our preferred kit.
Same process whether it's a single laptop or a 50-device refresh.
What role, what software, what budget, what timescale. 15 minutes usually enough for a single device.
Model, configuration, warranty option, monitor/dock if needed. Itemised quote, no bundle hiding.
We order through trade channels. Lead time typically 5–10 days. Kit lands at our office.
Windows, encryption, M365, apps, domain join, asset tag. Boxed up with peripherals, ready to deliver.
Drop off at your office, setup on desk if needed, data migration from old kit, old kit wiped and taken away.
We procure through trade distribution channels (which does give us trade pricing) but we're not a formal HP or Dell Partner. There's no meaningful difference in the hardware, warranty, or support you get — partner badges are mostly about sales targets and co-marketing. What matters is whether the kit is right for the job and whether someone's managing the warranty when it breaks.
You can, and some consumer kit is fine for specific uses. But (a) business lines like Latitude or EliteBook aren't usually the cheapest on Amazon, (b) business warranties — NBD on-site, 3-year accidental damage — only come through trade channels, and (c) Amazon doesn't help you when the laptop dies on day 400. We do.
Standard: 3-year NBD (next-business-day on-site) warranty. We can upgrade to 4 or 5 years, or add accidental damage protection. For servers, it's typically 3-year or 5-year proactive care. We track the expiry dates and flag renewals before they lapse.
Honestly, for most business use cases they're equivalent. Dell Latitude and HP EliteBook are directly comparable. Dell's ProSupport has historically been slightly stronger for complex issues; HP has slightly better sleeper-style fleet management tools. We specify whichever suits your existing setup, or we pick one and run with it across your fleet for consistency.
Yes. We aren't an Apple Authorised Reseller, so for volume we'd go through a partner, but we'll spec, buy, configure and deploy Macs for you. Usually clients are a mix — ops staff on Dell/HP, creative teams on Mac. We handle both from one supplier so you're not juggling.
HPE ProLiant and Dell PowerEdge are both excellent. For most SMEs a small rack server (1U–2U) handles file/print/AD/Hyper-V. We spec, rack, configure, migrate workloads off the old box, and take the old one away. Server install is usually a 1–2 day project.
Tell us what you're looking at — single device or fleet refresh. We'll spec it properly and quote it honestly.
No surprises. No up-selling. Just the right hardware for the job.
